What is it?

Urban Soul is an active citizenship programme for youth (15 years+ only). Our first event took place in Dublin from the 1st to the 4th of July 2008. Details of Urban Soul 2011 are available here.

By partnering with local communities, we seek to serve their aims and empower them to achieve their dreams. Urban Soul gathers young people who are passionate about social action through projects like area clean-ups, painting over graffiti, running community events etc.

The underlying values that motivate and guide Urban Soul are those taught and demonstrated by Jesus. His life and message show us that loving God is just the beginning and that we are also called to actively love our neighbours.

Urban Soul seeks to deliver hope, bestow dignity, bring equality of opportunity & inspire long-term change.
